ECM Communication Stop Mode [10/2014 - 09/2017]: Procedure
- CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS WIRE (ECM MAIN WIRE)
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

(to ECM) - Disconnect the ECM connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A35-13 (CANH) - A35-26 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 108 to 132 Ω Result
Proceed to OK NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN MAIN WIRE OR CONNECTOR (ECM)

- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ECM - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
- Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2014 - 09/2017]

- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
