Certification ECU Communication Stop Mode [10/2014 - 09/2017]: Procedure
- CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS WIRE (CERTIFICATION ECU CAN BRANCH WIRE)
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

(to Certification ECU [Smart Key ECU Assembly]) - Disconnect the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CERTIFICATION ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
- Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2014 - 09/2017]

Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition I53-10 (+B) - Body ground Power switch off 11 to 14 V - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
