Removal [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE ATF TEMPERATURE SENSOR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] 

  2. REMOVE TRANSMISSION VALVE BODY ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 11 bolts and transmission valve body assembly from the automatic transaxle assembly.

      NOTE:
      • When removing the transmission valve body assembly, be careful not to allow the transmission revolution sensor and the transaxle case sub-assembly to interfere with each other.
      • Make sure the manual valve does not fall when removing the transmission valve body assembly, as the manual valve is not fixed to the transmission valve body assembly.
  3. REMOVE TRANSAXLE CASE GASKET 
    1. Remove the 2 transaxle case gaskets from the automatic transaxle assembly.

  4. REMOVE MANUAL VALVE 
    1. Remove the manual valve from the transmission valve body assembly.
