Installation [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the transmission control cable assembly to the body with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 5.0 N.m (51 kgf/cm, 44 in.lbf) 

    2. Turn the control shaft lever clockwise until it stops. Next, turn the control shaft lever counterclockwise 2 notches to set it to N.

    3. Connect the transmission control cable assembly to the No. 1 transmission control cable bracket, and install a new clip.
    4. Connect the transmission control cable assembly to the control shaft lever with the nut.

      Torque: 12 N.m (122 kgf/cm, 9 ft.lbf) 

  2. CONNECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

  3. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [10/2014 - 05/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [05/2019 - ]

  4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER FILTER ELEMENT SUB-ASSEMBLY 
  5. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [10/2014 - 05/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [05/2019 - ]

  6. INSPECT SHIFT LEVER POSITION 

    See step  1

  7. ADJUST SHIFT LEVER POSITION 

    See step  3

  8. INSTALL CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY (w/o ASC System) 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [10/2014 - 09/2017] , or refer to INSTALLATION [09/2017 - ]

  9. INSTALL NO. 1 SPEAKER WITH BOX ASSEMBLY (w/ ASC System) 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [10/2014 - ]
