Installation [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL SOLENOID ASSEMBLY 
    1. Apply engine oil to a new O-ring and install it to the camshaft timing oil control solenoid assembly in the locations shown in the illustration.

      *1 O-Ring
    2. Install the camshaft timing oil control solenoid assembly with 2 new bolts.

      Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

      NOTE:

      Be careful that the O-ring is not jammed.

    3. Connect the camshaft timing oil control solenoid assembly connector.
