Removal [09/2015 - ]: Procedure

Refer to REMOVAL [09/2015 - 09/2017] , or refer to REMOVAL [09/2017 - ] 

1. Remove the fuel tube sub-assembly from the fuel delivery pipe.

   Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2014 - 05/2019] , or refer to PRECAUTION [05/2019 - ]

1. Disconnect the No. 6 engine wire connector.

2. Disconnect the 2 wire harness clamps from the fuel delivery pipe and wire harness clamp bracket.
3. Disconnect the 4 connectors from the 4 fuel injector assemblies.

4. Remove the 2 bolts, and then remove the fuel delivery pipe together with fuel injector assembly.
   NOTE:

   Be careful not to drop the fuel injector assembly when removing the fuel delivery pipe.

5. Remove the 2 No. 1 delivery pipe spacers from the cylinder head sub-assembly.

6. Remove the 4 injector vibration insulators from the cylinder head sub-assembly.

1. Remove the 4 fuel injector assemblies from the fuel delivery pipe.
   NOTE:

   If the fuel injector assemblies are to be reused, reinstall them to the same cylinder they came from.

2. Remove the O-ring from each fuel injector assembly.
3. For reinstallation, attach a tag or label with the corresponding cylinder number to each fuel injector assembly.
   NOTE:

   Protect the fuel injector assemblies by covering them with plastic bags.
