Removal [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. DRAIN ENGINE OIL 

    See step   [10/2014 - 05/2018] , or see step   [05/2018 - ]

  2. REMOVE COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY WITH PULLEY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ]

  3. REMOVE NO. 8 ENGINE WIRE 
    1. Disconnect the 2 No. 8 engine wire connectors.

    2. Detach the 2 clamps and remove the No. 8 engine wire from the oil cooler assembly.
  4. REMOVE OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Slide the 2 clamps and disconnect the No. 4 water by-pass hose and No. 5 water by-pass hose from the oil cooler assembly.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts and oil cooler assembly from the stiffening crankcase assembly.

    3. Remove the oil cooler gasket from the stiffening crankcase assembly.
    4. Remove the 2 bolts and wire harness clamp bracket from the oil cooler assembly.
