Installation [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install the wire harness clamp bracket to the oil cooler assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf) 

    2. Install a new oil cooler gasket to the stiffening crankcase assembly.
    3. Install the oil cooler assembly to the stiffening crankcase assembly with the 3 bolts.

      Torque: 21 N*m (214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf) 

    4. Connect the No. 4 water by-pass hose and No. 5 water by-pass hose to the oil cooler assembly, and slide the 2 clamps to secure the hoses.
  2. INSTALL NO. 8 ENGINE WIRE 
    1. Attach the 2 clamps and install the No. 8 engine wire to the oil cooler assembly.
    2. Connect the 2 No. 8 engine wire connectors.
  3. INSTALL COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY WITH PULLEY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [10/2014 - 07/2020] , or refer to INSTALLATION [07/2020 - ]

  4. ADD ENGINE OIL 

    See step   [10/2014 - 05/2018] , or see step   [05/2018 - ]

  5. INSPECT ENGINE OIL LEVEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [10/2014 - ]

  6. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK
