Removal [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [10/2014 - 09/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [09/2016 - 05/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17 [05/2019 - ]

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 TURBO PRESSURE SENSOR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [10/2014 - ]

  3. REMOVE PURGE VSV 
    1. Slide the clamp and disconnect the No. 2 fuel vapor feed hose from the No. 1 check valve.

    2. Detach the clamp and disconnect the No. 1 check valve.
    3. Remove the No. 1 check valve from the No. 1 fuel vapor feed hose.
    4. Disconnect the purge VSV connector.

      *1 No. 1 Fuel Vapor Feed Hose
      *2 Fuel Vapor Feed Hose Assembly
      *3 No. 2 Vacuum Transmitting Hose Assembly
    5. Slide the clamp and disconnect the fuel vapor feed hose assembly from the purge VSV.
    6. Remove the No. 1 fuel vapor feed hose from the purge VSV.
    7. Detach the clamp and disconnect the No. 2 vacuum transmitting hose assembly.
    8. Remove the bolt and purge VSV from the intake manifold.
    9. Detach the clamp from the purge VSV.
