1. Detach the claw and remove the hood lock control lever sub-assembly.

2. Disconnect the hood lock control lever sub-assembly from the hood lock control cable assembly.

1. Remove the screw.

2. Detach the claw and remove the hood lock control cable cover LH.
3. Disconnect the hood lock control assembly.

   Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [10/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [09/2018 - 10/2020]

4. Pull out the hood lock control cable assembly and hood lock control assembly from the hood lock control cable cover LH as shown in the illustration.

   Remove in this Direction

1. Tie a string to the end of the hood lock control cable assembly in the cabin.

2. Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, detach the clamps and remove the hood lock control cable assembly.

   Stopper

3. Pull the hood lock control cable assembly into the engine room.

   HINT: 

   Do not pull off the string, because it is used during installation. Leave it on the vehicle.

4. Disconnect the string from the hood lock control cable assembly.
