Stereo Jack Adapter Light does not Illuminate [10/2017 - 11/2021]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the G143 and G85 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connectors.
2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
   G143-1 (UPI) - Body ground	Power switch on (ACC)	5 V
   G85-8 (ACC) - Body ground	Power switch on (ACC)	11 to 14 V

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2017 - 10/2022] 

Result: 

NG 

See step  2

1. Disconnect the G52 and G138 radio receiver assembly connectors.
2. Disconnect the G85 and G143 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connectors.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G52-16 (ACC) - G85-8 (ACC)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G138-1 (USV1) - G143-1 (UPI)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G52-16 (ACC) or G85-8 (ACC) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   G138-1 (USV1) or G143-1 (UPI) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2017 - 10/2022]
