Removal [10/2022 - 10/2023]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

    Refer to BEFORE DISCONNECTING BATTERY [10/2022 - 10/2023]

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  4. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  5. REMOVE CENTER COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER 
    1. Detach the clip and claw.

      Remove in this Direction
    2. Detach the guide and remove the center cowl top ventilator louver.
  6. REMOVE NO. 1 RELAY BLOCK COVER

      Detach the claw and remove the No. 1 relay block cover.

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 SEMICONDUCTOR POWER INTEGRATION ECU 
    1. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, detach the claw and pull up the No. 1 semiconductor power integration ECU.
      NOTE:
      • Make sure the connector terminal is free from oil and grease.
      • Do not subject the No. 1 semiconductor power integration ECU to any impact.
      • Do not use a No. 1 semiconductor power integration ECU that has been dropped.
      • Do not disassemble the No. 1 semiconductor power integration ECU.

      Protective Tape
    2. Disconnect the power source connector.

      NOTE:
      • Make sure the connector terminal is free from oil and grease.
      • Do not subject the No. 1 semiconductor power integration ECU to any impact.
      • Do not use a No. 1 semiconductor power integration ECU that has been dropped.
      • Do not disassemble the No. 1 semiconductor power integration ECU.
    3. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, detach the claw and disconnect the lever connector.
      NOTE:
      • Make sure the connector terminal is free from oil and grease.
      • Do not subject the No. 1 semiconductor power integration ECU to any impact.
      • Do not use a No. 1 semiconductor power integration ECU that has been dropped.
      • Do not disassemble the No. 1 semiconductor power integration ECU.
