Removal [10/2022 - 10/2023]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    WARNING:

    Be sure to read precaution thoroughly before servicing.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [11/2021 - 10/2023]

    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

    Refer to BEFORE DISCONNECTING BATTERY [10/2022 - 10/2023]

  2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT MAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25

  3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

    • Wait at least 60 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
    • If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.
  4. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING UNIT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - 10/2023]

  5. REMOVE ID CODE BOX (IMMOBILIZER CODE ECU) 
    NOTE:

    Do not reuse dropped or damaged parts.

    1. Detach the claw as shown in the illustration.

    2. Detach the claw to remove the ID code box (immobiliser code ECU) as shown in the illustration.
