Removal [12/2017 - 10/2023]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE FRONT STEERING CONTROL ECU (w/ VGRS) 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to REMOVAL [09/2018 - 10/2020] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - 10/2023]

  2. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (w/o VGRS) 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to REMOVAL [09/2018 - 10/2020] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to REMOVAL [10/2022 - 10/2023]

  3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH (w/o VGRS) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [12/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [09/2018 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [10/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [10/2022 - 10/2023]

  4. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o VGRS) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [12/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [09/2018 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [10/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [10/2022 - 10/2023]

  5. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (w/o VGRS) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [12/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [09/2018 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 22 [10/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 22 [10/2022 - 10/2023]

  6. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR PAD PLATE (w/o VGRS) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 29 [12/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 29 [09/2018 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 31 [10/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 31 [10/2022 - 10/2023]

  7. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY (w/o VGRS) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 30 [12/2017 - 09/2018] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 30 [09/2018 - 10/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 32 [10/2020 - 10/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 32 [10/2022 - 10/2023]

  8. REMOVE PASSENGER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY WITH NETWORK GATEWAY ECU 
    1. Disconnect the clamp.

    2. Disconnect the 2 connectors.

      *a Lever Connector    
      Rotate in this Direction Protective Tape
    3. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, detach the claw and disconnect the 2 lever connectors.
    4. w/ VGRS:

      *a Nut (A)
      *b Nut (B)
      1. Remove the nut (A).
    5. w/o VGRS:
      1. Remove the nut (A) and nut (B).
    6. Detach the claw and remove the passenger side junction block with network gateway ECU assembly.

      *a Lever Connector - -
      Rotate in this Direction Protective Tape
    7. Disconnect the connector.
    8. Using a thin-bladed screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, detach the claw and disconnect the 2 lever connectors.
  9. REMOVE NETWORK GATEWAY ECU 
    1. Detach the claw and guide and remove the network gateway ECU.
