DTC C1249: Open Circuit in Stop Light Switch Circuit [12/2017 - 10/2023]: Procedure

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2017 - 10/2023]

   Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC > Clear DTCs 

2. Turn the engine switch off.
3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
4. Depress the brake pedal for 5 seconds or more.
5. Check if the same DTC is output.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2017 - 10/2023]

   Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC > Trouble Codes 

   Result

   Result	Proceed to
   DTC C1380 is not output.	A
   DTC C1380 is output.	B

Result: 

B 

GO TO DTC (C1380). Refer to  DTC C1380: Stop Light Control Relay Malfunction [12/2017 - 10/2023]

1. Depress the brake pedal and check that all the stop lights turn on.

   OK

   All stop lights turn on

   Result

   NG
