Engine Oil Pressure Switch Circuit [10/2023 - ]: Procedure

1. Remove the engine oil pressure switch assembly.

   Refer to REMOVAL [12/2017 - ]

2. Inspect the engine oil pressure switch assembly.

   Refer to INSPECTION [12/2017 - ]

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPLACE ENGINE OIL PRESSURE SWITCH ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [12/2017 - ] 

Result: 

OK

1. *1: for 2WD
2. *2: for AWD

1. Disconnect the G209 combination meter assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the D14*1 or D15*2 engine oil pressure switch assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   FOR 2WD:
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G209-9 (S) - D14-1	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G209-9 (S) - Other terminals and body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   FOR AWD:
   
   

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G209-9 (S) - D15-1	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G209-9 (S) - Other terminals and body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

OK 

REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [10/2023 - ]
