Removal [03/2017 - 05/2023]: Procedure
- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL NOTE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
Refer to INITIALIZATION [03/2017 - 04/2020] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [04/2020 - 05/2023]
- REMOVE OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY
Refer to REMOVAL [03/2017 - 05/2023]
- REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT
Refer to REMOVAL [03/2017 - ]
- REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR BRACKET BOLT
- REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY
- Detach the 2 clamps.
- Remove the bolt and disconnect the engine wire.
- Remove the terminal cap.
*1 Terminal Cap *2 Oil Cooler Tube *a Bolt *b Nut - Detach the clamp.
- Remove the nut and disconnect the engine wire from terminal B.
- Disconnect the generator assembly connector.
- Remove the bolt and disconnect the oil cooler tube.
- Remove the bolt and oil cooler bracket.
- Remove the bolt A and engine wire bracket.
*1 Engine Wire Bracket - Remove the bolt B and 2 nuts.
- Using an E8 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 2 stud bolts and generator assembly.
- Remove the bolt and wire harness bracket from the generator assembly.
- Detach the 2 clamps.
