Installation [10/2017 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL WATER INLET WITH THERMOSTAT SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install a new gasket to the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly.
    2. Install the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly to the timing chain cover assembly with the 2 bolts and nut.

      Torque: 10 N.m (102 kgf/cm, 7 ft.lbf) 

    3. Connect the No. 15 water by-pass hose to the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly and slide the clip to secure it.
    4. Connect the No. 3 water by-pass hose to the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly and slide the clip to secure it.
    5. Connect the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly connector.
  2. CONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the No. 2 radiator hose to the water inlet with thermostat sub-assembly and slide the clip to secure it.
  3. ADD ENGINE COOLANT 

    See step  3

  4. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  5. INSTALL V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 104 [10/2017 - 09/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 104 [09/2020 - ]
