Removal [10/2015 - 09/2017]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 
    1. Remove the 9 clips.

    2. Disengage the guides to remove the cool air intake duct seal.
  2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 10 screws.

    2. w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System:
      1. Remove the bolt.

      2. Remove the 2 clips.
      3. Disconnect the connector.
    3. w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System:
      1. Remove the bolt.

      2. Remove the 2 clips.
    4. Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees to remove the pin hold clip.

      *a 90°

      HINT: 

      • When removing the pin hold clip, turn the steering wheel right and left to ensure enough space to work.
      • Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
    5. Remove the clip.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    6. Fold back a part of edge of the front fender liner as shown in the illustration, and remove the screw.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

      Protective Tape

      Apply protective tape around the front bumper assembly.

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    8. Disengage the claws as shown in the illustration.

      Place Hands Here
      Remove in this Direction (1)
      Remove in this Direction (2)

      HINT: 

      Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

    9. w/ Headlight Cleaner System:
      1. Disconnect the washer hose and drain the washer fluid.

        HINT: 

        Use a container to collect the washer fluid

    10. w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System:

      1. Disconnect the 2 connectors.
    11. Remove the front bumper assembly as shown in the illustration.
