Installation [08/2020 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL SUSPENSION TOWER DAMPER 
    1. Using a union nut wrench, install the suspension tower damper to the vehicle with the 2 nuts.

      Specified tightening torque 

      Torque: 35 N.m (357 kgf/cm, 26 ft.lbf) 

      NOTE:

      Do not extend or compress the damper.

      *a Torque Wrench Fulcrum Length
      *b Union Nut Wrench

      HINT: 

      • Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.

        Refer to PRECAUTION [06/2018 - ]

      • When using a union nut wrench (fulcrum length of 25 mm (0.984 in.)) + torque wrench (fulcrum length of 162 mm (6.38 in.)):

        30 N.m (306 kgf/cm, 22 ft.lbf)

  2. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 FLOOR BOARD (for 2GR-FKS) 
    1. Install the rear No. 1 floor board with the 3 grommets (B) and 2 clips (C).

    2. Install the 4 clips (A).
  3. INSTALL REAR FLOOR SIDE MEMBER COVER (for A25A-FXS) 
    1. Install the rear floor side member cover with the 3 grommets (B) and 2 clips (C).

    2. Install the bolt and 8 clips (A).

      Bolt 

      Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf) 

  4. INSTALL REAR FLOOR SIDE MEMBER COVER (for A25A-FKS) 
    1. Install the rear floor side member cover with the 3 grommets (B) and 2 clips (C).

    2. Install the bolt and 8 clips (A).

      Bolt 

      Torque: 7.5 N.m (76 kgf/cm, 66 in.lbf)
