Removal [06/2018 - 08/2021]: Procedure

- REMOVE HV BATTERY
Refer to REMOVAL [06/2018 - 08/2021]
- REMOVE UPPER HV BATTERY COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
- REMOVE HV BATTERY JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19
- REMOVE NO. 2 HYBRID BATTERY SHIELD SUB-ASSEMBLY WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.
- Remove the 5 nuts.
- Pull back the rear No. 1 HV battery shield and remove the No. 2 hybrid battery shield sub-assembly from the HV battery.
*1 Rear No. 1 HV Battery Shield *2 No. 2 Hybrid Battery Shield Sub-assembly Pull Back HINT:
Pull back the rear No. 1 HV battery shield until it is separated from the stud bolt of the No. 2 hybrid battery shield sub-assembly.
- Remove the 5 nuts.
- REMOVE NO. 1 HV BATTERY INTAKE DUCT LH WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.
- REMOVE HYBRID BATTERY THERMISTOR WARNING:
Be sure to wear insulated gloves and protective goggles.
- Disengage the clamp.
- Disengage the 2 claws and remove the No. 1 hybrid battery packing from the HV battery.
- Disengage the clamp.
- Disconnect the battery voltage sensor connector.
- Disengage the 4 clamps.
- Disengage the 3 claws of the hybrid battery thermistor (sensor portions) and remove the hybrid battery thermistor from the HV battery.
- Disengage the clamp.
