Front Door Courtesy Switch Circuit [06/2018 - ]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.
5. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

REPLACE FRONT DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for RH). Refer to  REMOVAL [06/2018 - ]

1. Disconnect the G37 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   N4-1 - G37-6 (FRCY)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   N4-1 or G37-6 (FRCY) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Result

REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU). Refer to  REMOVAL [06/2018 - 08/2021]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [08/2021 - 09/2022]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [09/2022 - ]

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

1. Remove the front door courtesy light switch assembly (for LH).

   Refer to REMOVAL [06/2018 - ]

2. Inspect the front door courtesy light switch assembly (for LH).

   Refer to INSPECTION [06/2018 - ]

   Result

REPLACE FRONT DOOR COURTESY LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for LH). Refer to  REMOVAL [06/2018 - ]
