Ambient Illumination Light Circuit [06/2018 - ]: Procedure

  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Active Test.
    5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.

      Body Electrical > Main Body > Active Test

  2. INSPECT NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL LIGHT SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the No. 1 instrument panel light sub-assembly.

      Refer to REMOVAL [06/2018 - 08/2021] , or refer to REMOVAL [08/2021 - ]

    2. Inspect the No. 1 instrument panel light sub-assembly.

      Refer to INSPECTION [06/2018 - ]

    1. Disconnect the G38 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    3. Disconnect the M6 rear door inside handle illumination light assembly LH connector.
    4. Disconnect the M3 rear door inside handle illumination light assembly RH connector.
    5. Disconnect the K5 front door ambient light LH (front door trim board sub-assembly LH) connector.
    6. Disconnect the K2 front door ambient light RH (front door trim board sub-assembly RH) connector.
    7. Disconnect the M5 rear door ambient light LH (rear door trim board sub-assembly LH) connector.
    8. Disconnect the M2 rear door ambient light RH (rear door trim board sub-assembly RH) connector.
    9. Disconnect the G38 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
    10. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
