  1. CHECK DISPLAY CHECK MODE 
    1. Check which items display on the signal check screen.

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PANORAMIC VIEW MONITOR SWITCH - PARKING ASSIST ECU AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the G32 panoramic view monitor switch connector.
    2. Disconnect the N126 parking assist ECU connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      N126-11 (BLSW) - G32-6 (ECU) Always Below 1 Ω
      G32-18 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      N126-11 (BLSW) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result:

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

    OK

  3. INSPECT PANORAMIC VIEW MONITOR SWITCH 

    Refer to INSPECTION [08/2021 - ]

    REPLACE PARKING ASSIST ECU. Refer to  REMOVAL [09/2022 - ]

    REPLACE PANORAMIC VIEW MONITOR SWITCH. Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2021 - ] 

  4. CHECK BACK-UP LIGHT 
    1. Check that the back-up light comes on.

      OK

      The back-up light comes on.

    GO TO LIGHTING SYSTEM (EXT)

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REVERSE SIGNAL) 
    1. Disconnect the parking assist ECU connector.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      N126-7 (REV) - Body ground Ignition switch off Below 1 V
      N126-7 (REV) - Body ground Ignition switch ON
      Shift position not in R

      Ignition switch ON
