DTC P0606-09: Control Module Processor (Brake Override System Output Signal) Component Failure [08/2021 - 09/2022]: Procedure

- READ OUTPUT DTC (IN ADDITION TO DTC P0606-09)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Wait 1 second or more.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Trouble Codes.
- Read the DTCs.
Powertrain > Engine > Trouble Codes
Result
Result Proceed to DTC P0606-09 is output A DTC P0606-09 and other DTCs are output B

REPLACE ECM. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2021 - 09/2022]

- GO TO DTC CHART A25A-FKS SFI SYSTEM

After the inspection, perform the following procedure.

- CLEAR DTC
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the engine switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Clear the DTCs.
Powertrain > Engine > Clear DTCs
- Turn the engine switch off and wait for at least 30 seconds.

- CONFIRM WHETHER MALFUNCTION HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY REPAIRED
- Drive the vehicle in accordance with the driving pattern described in Confirmation Driving Pattern.

- Read the DTCs.
