Driver Seat Control ECU Communication Stop Mode [06/2018 - 08/2021]: Procedure

  1. CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY LH BRANCH LINE) 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the U48 position control ECU assembly LH connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      U48-13 (CANP) - U48-14 (CANN) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω

    REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH LINES OR CONNECTOR (POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY LH)

    OK

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT) 
    1. Disconnect the U46 position control ECU assembly LH connector.
    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      U46-2 (GND) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal Below 1 Ω

      (to Position Control ECU Assembly LH)
    3. Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      U46-3 (+B) - Body ground Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      U48-1 (IG) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      U48-15 (SYSB) - Body ground Power switch off 11 to 14 V

      Result

      Result 
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE POSITION CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY LH
