DTC C168D: Vehicle Information Unmatched [06/2018 - 09/2022]: Procedure

  1. REGISTER VEHICLE INFORMATION 
    1. Perform the following procedure to register the vehicle information.
      1. w/o Parking Support Brake System: Refer to CALIBRATION [06/2018 - 08/2021] , or refer to CALIBRATION [08/2021 - 09/2022]
      2. w/ Parking Support Brake System: Refer to CALIBRATION [06/2018 - 08/2021] , or refer to CALIBRATION [08/2021 - 09/2022]

  2. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Using the Techstream, check for DTCs according to the prompts on the screen.

      HINT: 

      After turning the power switch from off to on (IG), wait 4 seconds or more before checking for DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Advanced Parking Guidance/ICS/Intuitive P/A > Trouble Codes 

    2. Clear the DTCs according to the screen on the Techstream.

      Body Electrical > Advanced Parking Guidance/ICS/Intuitive P/A > Clear DTCs 

    3. Recheck for DTCs.

      Body Electrical > Advanced Parking Guidance/ICS/Intuitive P/A > Trouble Codes 

      HINT: 

      If DTC C168D is still output after registering the vehicle information 3 times, replace the clearance warning ECU assembly.

    Result: 

    REPLACE CLEARANCE WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [06/2018 - 08/2021]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [08/2021 - 09/2022]
