Power Trunk Lid does not Operate Using Kick Sensor Operation [08/2021 - ]: Procedure

1. Read the customize setting according to the combination meter assembly.
   1. Enter the following menus: Vehicle Settings.

      Display	Description	Default	Setting	ECU
      KICK SENSOR	Function that can be used to set the hands free power trunk lid.	On	On or Off	Luggage closer motor assembly

2. Read the customize setting according to the display on the Techstream.

   PSD & PBD operation 

   Tester Display	Description	Default	Setting	ECU
   PBD Kick Sensor Function	Function that enables/disables the hands free power trunk lid	ON	$00:OFF,$01:ON	Luggage closer motor assembly

2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   S5-1 (B) - Body ground	Power switch off	11 to 14 V

3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   S5-4 (GND) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω
