DTC B2250: PBD/PTL Closer Operation [06/2018 - 08/2021]: Procedure

- CHECK FOR DTC
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Back Door / Trouble Codes.
- Clear the DTCs.
Body Electrical > Back Door > Clear DTCs
- Check for DTCs.
Body Electrical > Back Door > Trouble Codes
OK
DTC B2250 is not output.

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (LUGGAGE CLOSER MOTOR ASSEMBLY - LUGGAGE DOOR CLOSER ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the R7 luggage closer motor assembly connector.
- Disconnect the R18 luggage door closer assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance

- CHECK LUGGAGE DOOR CLOSER ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect R18-8 (M+) and R18-1 (M-) from the luggage door closer assembly connectors.
- Reconnect the R18 luggage door closer assembly connector.
- Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform.
