Terminals Of Ecu [06/2018 - 09/2022]

  1. CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY AND MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)

    1. Disconnect the MB main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.

      Refer to REMOVAL [06/2018 - 08/2021] , or refer to REMOVAL [08/2021 - 09/2022]

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connectors disconnected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      MB-11 (GND1) - Body ground - Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      MB-31 (BECU) - Body ground - Auxiliary battery power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      MB-30 (ACC) - Body ground - ACC power supply Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      Power switch off Below 1 V
      MB-32 (IG) - Body ground - IG power supply Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      Power switch off Below 1 V
    3. Reconnect the MB main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
    4. Check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.

  2. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (DRIVER DOOR)

    1. Disconnect the J27 power window regulator motor assembly (driver door) connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      J27-2 (B) - Body ground GR - Body ground Auxiliary battery power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      J27-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Reconnect the J27 power window regulator motor assembly (driver door) connector.
    4. Check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.

  3. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (FRONT PASSENGER DOOR)

    1. Disconnect the J5 power window regulator motor assembly (front passenger door) connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      J5-2 (B) - Body ground GR - Body ground Auxiliary battery power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      J5-1 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Reconnect the J5 power window regulator motor assembly (front passenger door) connector.
    4. Check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.

  4. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (REAR RH DOOR)

    1. Disconnect the L4 power window regulator motor assembly (rear RH door) connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      L4-2 (B) - Body ground B - Body ground Auxiliary battery power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      L4-1 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Reconnect the L4 power window regulator motor assembly (rear RH door) connector.
    4. Check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.

  5. CHECK POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY (REAR LH DOOR)

    1. Disconnect the L10 power window regulator motor assembly (rear LH door) connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      L10-2 (B) - Body ground B - Body ground Auxiliary battery power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      L10-1 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Reconnect the L10 power window regulator motor assembly (rear LH door) connector.
    4. Check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.

  6. CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the J20 multiplex network master switch assembly connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      J20-11 (B) - Body ground LA-R - Body ground Auxiliary battery power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V

    3. Reconnect the J20 multiplex network master switch assembly connector.
    4. Check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.

  7. CHECK SLIDING ROOF ECU (SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY)

    1. Disconnect the P22 sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly) connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      P22-1 (B) - Body ground B - Body ground Auxiliary battery power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      P22-2 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Reconnect the P22 sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly) connector.
    4. Check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.

  8. CHECK KICK DOOR CONTROL SENSOR (w/ Power Trunk Lid System)

    1. Disconnect the S5 kick door control sensor connector.
    2. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      S5-1 (B) - Body ground B - Body ground Auxiliary battery power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      S5-4 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Reconnect the S5 kick door control sensor connector.
    4. Measure the pulse according to the value(s) in the table below.

  9. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY)

    1. Disconnect the G47 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      G47-4 (+B) - Body ground W - Body ground Auxiliary battery power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V

    3. Reconnect the G47 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
    4. Check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.

  10. CHECK STEERING LOCK ECU (STEERING LOCK ACTUATOR OR UPPER BRACKET ASSEMBLY)

    1. Disconnect the G51 steering lock ECU (steering lock actuator or upper bracket assembly) connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      G51-7 (B) - Body ground G - Body ground Auxiliary battery power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      G51-1 (GND) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Reconnect the G51 steering lock ECU (steering lock actuator or upper bracket assembly) connector.
    4. Check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.

  11. CHECK ID CODE BOX (IMMOBILISER CODE ECU)

    1. Disconnect the G52 ID code box (immobiliser code ECU) connector.
    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

    3. Reconnect the G52 ID code box (immobiliser code ECU) connector.
    4. Check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.
