Parking Light/Daytime Running Light Circuit [06/2018 - 08/2021]: Procedure

  1. CONFIRM MODEL 
    1. Choose the model to be inspected.

  2. CHECK LIGHTS 
    1. Check the illumination of each parking lights and daytime running lights.

  3. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / AFS / Active Test.
    5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.

      Body Electrical > AFS > Active Test

  4. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / AFS (Sub) / Active Test.
    5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the Techstream.

      Body Electrical > AFS (Sub) > Active Test

    1. Interchange the headlight unit assembly LH with RH and connect the connectors.

      for LED Type Turn Signal Light: Refer to DISASSEMBLY [06/2018 - 08/2021]

      for Bulb Type Turn Signal Light: Refer to DISASSEMBLY [06/2018 - 08/2021]

  8. CHECK OPERATION (PARKING LIGHTS AND DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS)

  9. CHECK HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove each headlight ECU sub-assembly, interchange the headlight assembly LH with RH and connect the connectors.

      Refer to REMOVAL [06/2018 - 08/2021]

  10. CHECK OPERATION (PARKING LIGHTS AND DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS)

  11. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM
