DTC U0073: Control Module Communication Bus Off; DTC U0101: Lost Communication with TCM; DTC U0126: Lost Communication with Steering Angle Sensor Module; DTC U0129: Lost Communication with Brake System Control Module; DTC U0142: Lost Communication with Body Control Module "B"; DTC U0155: Lost Communication with Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Control Module; DTC U0242: Lost Communication With Headlamp Control Module "B"; DTC U0293: Lost Communication with Hybrid Vehicle Control System [06/2018 - ]: Procedure

  1. CONFIRM MODEL 
    1. Choose the model to be inspected.

      For Bulb Type Turn Signal Light B

  2. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / AFS / Trouble Codes.
    5. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > AFS > Clear DTCs 

      Result

      Proceed to
      NEXT

    Result: 

    NEXT

  3. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Wait 35 seconds or more.
    4. Turn the Techstream on.
    5. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / AFS / Trouble Codes.
    6. Check for DTCs.

      Body Electrical > AFS > Trouble Codes 

      OK

      DTCs are not output.

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [06/2018 - ]

    GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [06/2018 - ] 

  4. CLEAR DTC 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / HL AutoLeveling / Trouble Codes.
    5. Clear the DTCs.

      Body Electrical > HL AutoLeveling > Clear DTCs 

      Result

      Proceed to
      NEXT

    Result: 

    NEXT

  5. CHECK FOR DTC 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Wait 35 seconds or more.

    6. Check for DTCs.
