Terminals Of Ecu [06/2018 - ]

  1. CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY AND MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)

    1. Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the instrument panel junction block assembly.

      Refer to REMOVAL [06/2018 - 08/2021] , or refer to REMOVAL [08/2021 - 09/2022] , or refer to REMOVAL [09/2022 - ]

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connectors connected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      G36-19 (GND2) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
    3. Reconnect the instrument panel junction block assembly connectors.
    4. Measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connectors disconnected.

      Terminal No. (Symbol) Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      MB-11 (GND1) - Body ground - Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      MB-31 (BECU) - Body ground - Auxiliary battery power supply Power switch off 11 to 14 V
      MB-30 (ACC) - Body ground - ACC power supply Power switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V
      Power switch off Below 1 V
      MB-32 (IG) - Body ground - IG power supply Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      Power switch off Below 1 V
    5. Install the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) to the instrument panel junction block assembly.

      Refer to INSTALLATION [06/2018 - ]

    6. Measure the voltage and check for pulses according to the value(s) in the table below.

      G38-4 (TSW) - Body ground LG - Body ground Luggage compartment door opening switch signal Luggage compartment door opening switch on Below 1 V
      Power switch off, all doors closed and luggage compartment door opening switch off Pulse generation
      G37-27 (TMSW) - Body ground B - Body ground Luggage door opening cancel switch signal Luggage door opening cancel switch on Below 1 V
      Power switch off, all doors closed and luggage door opening cancel switch off Pulse generation
      3H-34 (LGCY) - Body ground GR - Body ground Luggage compartment door courtesy light switch assembly input signal Luggage compartment door open Below 1 V
      Luggage compartment door closed 11 to 14 V
      3H-20 (TR+) - Body ground LA-G - Body ground Luggage compartment door open relay output signal Luggage compartment door opening switch on 11 to 14 V
      Luggage compartment door opening switch off Below 1 V
  2. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) 

    Refer to TERMINALS OF ECU [06/2018 - 08/2021] , or refer to TERMINALS OF ECU [08/2021 - ]
