DTC B2274: ACC Monitor Malfunction [06/2018 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY - CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY), AUXILIARY BATTERY AND BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the G47 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
    2. Disconnect the 3A, 3D and 3K instrument panel junction block assembly connectors.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G47-16 (ACCD) - 3A-30 Always Below 1 Ω
      3D-3 - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
      G47-16 (ACCD) or 3A-30 - Other terminals and body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      3K-1 - Body ground Power switch off 11 to 14 V

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    Result: 

    OK

  2. CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY (ACC RELAY) 
    1. Remove the instrument panel junction block assembly.

      Refer to REMOVAL [06/2018 - 08/2021] , or refer to REMOVAL [08/2021 - 09/2022] , or refer to REMOVAL [09/2022 - ]

    2. Connect all of the instrument panel junction block assembly connectors.
    3. Connect the G47 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Component with harness connected
      (Instrument Panel Junction Block Assembly)

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      3H-26 - Body ground Power switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPLACE INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [06/2018 - 08/2021]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [08/2021 - 09/2022]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [09/2022 - ] 

    Result: 

    OK

  3. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      (Certification ECU (Smart Key ECU Assembly))

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      G47-16 (ACCD) - Body ground Power switch off → Power switch on (ACC) 1 V or less → 8.5 V or higher

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    OK 

    END (TEMPORARY CONNECTION FAILURE IS SUSPECTED). Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [06/2018 - ]

    REPLACE CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY). Refer to  REMOVAL [06/2018 - 08/2021]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [08/2021 - 09/2022]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [09/2022 - ]
