My Settings cannot be Used on the Multi-display [09/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. CHECK PROBLEM SYMPTOMS (MY SETTINGS FUNCTION) 
    1. Confirm problem symptoms
      1. Confirm the problem symptoms of the my settings function, and proceed to the respective link.

        Result

        The settings screen does not display the vehicle name or user name A
        My settings cannot be created, stored, deleted or uploaded B
        A value the my settings function cannot be changed
        A value of the my settings function changes by itself
        The data of the my settings function cannot be transferred to another vehicle

  2. INSPECT TELEMATICS SYSTEM 
    1. Check that the telematics system operates normally.

      HINT: 

      Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [10/2019 - ]

  3. SERVICE CHECK (GNSS CHECK) 
    1. Enter diagnostic mode.

      Refer to UTILITY [09/2022 - ]

    2. Select "Function Check/Setting" from the "Service Menu" screen.
    3. Select "System Sensors Check" from the "Function Check/Setting I" screen.
    4. Select "Time Setting" from the "System Sensors Check" screen.
    5. Check "GNSS Time Setting" screen and confirm that "Current time" is set correctly.

      Result

      "Current time" is correct A
      "Current time" is not correct B

  4. CHECK USAGE CONDITIONS OF SMARTPHONE AND APPLICATIONS 
    1. Check that the customers smartphone and applications meet the following conditions:
      NOTE:

      If it is necessary to change smartphone settings, update software, etc., make sure to obtain the permission of the customer first.

    2. The smartphone is turned on
    3. The smartphone is ready to communicate
    4. The operation of the smartphone has been confirmed
    5. The time displayed by the smartphone is correct
    6. Applications are installed
    7. Each application is the latest version
    8. Check for malfunctions and confirm that the device operates correctly.

      Result

  5. CHECK CONDITION (USER ID USAGE CONDITION) 
    1. Check that the same user ID is not being used for other vehicles.
      NOTE:

      If it is necessary to confirm the settings of the smartphone, make sure to obtain the permission of the customer first.

      HINT: 

      By confirming the vehicle registered to each application and then contacting the call center, it can be confirmed whether the same user ID is used for other vehicles.

    2. Check for malfunctions and confirm that the device operates correctly.

  6. CHECK CENTER OPERATION STATUS 
    1. Using another vehicle, check whether the server operates with a dealer account.

  7. CHECK USAGE CONDITIONS 
    1. Check if the application is signed out.

    SIGN IN TO THE APPLICATION AND CHECK AGAIN

  8. CHECK USAGE CONDITIONS OF SMARTPHONE AND APPLICATIONS 
    1. Check that the customers smartphone and applications meet the following conditions:
      NOTE:

      If it is necessary to change smartphone settings, update software, etc., make sure to obtain the permission of the customer first.

    2. The smartphone is turned on
    3. The smartphone is ready to communicate
    4. Check that the "Bluetooth" setting of the smartphone is set to on
    5. The operation of the smartphone has been confirmed
    6. The time displayed by the smartphone is correct
    7. Applications are installed
    8. Each application is the latest version
    9. The application is started and the user is signed in
    10. The smartphone is displayed on "Bluetooth devices" on the my settings screen of the in-vehicle device.
    11. Check for malfunctions and confirm that the device operates correctly.
