DTC C1311: Open Circuit in Main Relay 1; DTC C1312: Short Circuit in Main Relay 1 [06/2018 - ]: Procedure
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM (MAIN RELAY)
- Select the Active Test on the Techstream.
Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [06/2018 - ]

- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (BS TERMINAL)
- Turn the power switch off.

(to Skid Control ECU (Brake Booster with Master Cylinder Assembly)) - Make sure that there is no looseness at the locking part and the connecting part of the connector.
OK
The connector is securely connected.
- Disconnect the A45 skid control ECU (brake booster with master cylinder assembly) connector.
- Check both the connector case and the terminals for deformation and corrosion.
OK
No deformation or corrosion.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage

- Turn the power switch off.
- RECONFIRM DTC
- Reconnect the A45 skid control ECU (brake booster with master cylinder assembly) connector.
- Clear the DTCs.
Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [06/2018 - ]
Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC > Clear DTCs
- Turn the power switch off.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Check if the same DTC is output.
