Removal [06/2018 - 08/2021]: Procedure

  1. CHANGE POWER TILT AND POWER TELESCOPIC STEERING COLUMN SYSTEM SETTINGS (for Power Tilt and Power Telescopic Steering Column) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [06/2018 - 10/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [10/2019 - 08/2021]

  2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  3. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  5. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15

  7. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER MOULDING 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 17

  9. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  10. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  11. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  12. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23

  13. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27

  14. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER MOULDING 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 30

  15. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/o Headup Display) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 31

  16. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Headup Display) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 32

  17. REMOVE UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33

  18. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 37

  19. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 clips and 2 guides as shown in the illustration.

      Insert Moulding Remover Here
      Remove in this Direction
    2. Disconnect the connector.
    3. Remove the 2 screws.

    4. Disengage the 13 claws as shown in the illustration to remove the instrument cluster finish panel assembly.

      Remove in this Direction - -
  20. REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 4 screws.

    2. Disengage the clamp.

    3. Disconnect the 2 connectors to remove the combination meter assembly.
