The front passenger side knee airbag squib circuit consists of the airbag ECU assembly and lower No. 2 instrument panel airbag assembly.

The airbag ECU assembly uses this circuit to deploy the airbag when deployment conditions are met.

These DTCs are stored when a malfunction is detected in the front passenger side knee airbag squib circuit.

  • The airbag ECU assembly detects a line short in the front passenger side knee airbag squib during the primary check.

  • Front passenger side knee airbag squib (Lower No. 2 instrument panel airbag assembly)
  • Airbag ECU assembly

B1866 Open in Knee Airbag (P Side) Squib Circuit
  • The airbag ECU assembly detects an open in the front passenger side knee airbag squib.
  • Front passenger side knee airbag squib malfunction

  • The airbag ECU assembly detects a short to ground in the front passenger side knee airbag squib.
