Removal [06/2018 - 08/2021]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. REMOVE BATTERY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [06/2018 - 08/2021]

  3. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  4. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [06/2018 - 10/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 19 [10/2019 - 08/2021]

  5. REMOVE INLET AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [06/2018 - 10/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [10/2019 - 08/2021]

  6. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY WITH AIR CLEANER HOSE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [06/2018 - 10/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [10/2019 - 08/2021]

  7. REMOVE ECM 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [06/2018 - 10/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [10/2019 - 08/2021]

  8. REMOVE BATTERY CLAMP SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25 [06/2018 - 10/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25 [10/2019 - 08/2021]

  9. REMOVE STARTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the starter assembly connector.

    2. Open the terminal cap.
    3. Remove the nut and disconnect the engine wire from the terminal 30.
    4. Remove the 2 bolts and starter assembly.
