Inspection [08/2019 - ]: Procedure
- INSPECT BACK DOOR CONTROL SWITCH
- Check the switch.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(Back Door Control Switch)Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 5 - 2 Pressed (On) Below 1 Ω 5 - 2 Not pressed (Off) 1 MΩ or higher If the result is not as specified, replace the back door control switch.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Check that the switch illuminates.
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the switch connector and check that the back door control switch illuminates.
OK
Auxiliary Battery Connection Specified Condition Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 6
Auxiliary battery positive (-) → Terminal 1Illumination illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the back door control switch.
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the switch connector and check that the back door control switch illuminates.
- Check the switch.

- Check the switch.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
