Removal [10/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. ALIGN FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD 
  2. SECURE STEERING WHEEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  3. REMOVE FRONT WHEELS 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  4. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [10/2015 - 08/2016] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [08/2016 - 12/2017] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [12/2017 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [08/2019 - ]

  5. SEPARATE OXYGEN SENSOR WIRE 
    1. Disengage the clamp and separate the oxygen sensor wire.

  6. SEPARATE HV FLOOR UNDER WIRE 
    1. Disengage the clamp and separate the hv floor under wire.

  7. SEPARATE STEERING INTERMEDIATE SHAFT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  8. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts and front stabilizer link assembly LH from the front shock absorber assembly and front stabilizer bar.

      NOTE:

      Do not damage the boot of the ball joint.

      HINT: 

      If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon socket wrench to hold the stud bolt.

  9. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  10. SEPARATE TIE ROD ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  11. SEPARATE TIE ROD ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  12. SEPARATE FRONT LOWER NO. 1 SUSPENSION ARM SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 

    See step  [10/2015 - 08/2016], or see step  [08/2016 - 12/2017], or see step  [12/2017 - 08/2019]

  13. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET LH 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and front No. 1 stabilizer bracket LH from the front frame assembly.

    2. Remove the front No. 2 stabilizer bracket LH from the front frame assembly.
  14. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 STABILIZER BRACKET RH 

    HINT: 

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  15. SEPARATE FRONT STABILIZER BAR 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  16. REMOVE STEERING LINK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15

  17. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR 
    1. Remove the front stabilizer bar with the 2 front stabilizer bar bushings from the vehicle body.

  18. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR BUSHING LH 
    1. Remove the front stabilizer bar bushing LH from the front stabilizer bar.
  19. REMOVE FRONT STABILIZER BAR BUSHING RH 

    HINT: 

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.
