Removal [03/2018 - 08/2019]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [03/2018 - ]

  2. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13

  3. REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE SCUFF PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  4. REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER TRACK BRACKET COVER LH (for LH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  5. REMOVE REAR SEAT OUTER TRACK BRACKET COVER RH (for RH Side) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  6. REMOVE FRONT DECK SIDE TRIM COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27

  7. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 28

  8. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK (for LH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 26

  9. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY (for LH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 30

  10. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for LH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  11. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK (for RH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 34

  12. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY (for RH Side) 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  13. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for RH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  14. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (for LH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  15. REMOVE COOLER (NO. 2 ROOM TEMP. SENSOR) THERMISTOR (for LH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  16. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 34

  17. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 43

  18. REMOVE REAR LIGHT COVER 
    1. Using a molding remover, disengage the 3 claws as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disengage the 3 claws and guide to remove the rear light cover as shown in the illustration.

  19. REMOVE REAR COMBINATION LIGHT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Apply protective tape around the rear combination light assembly as shown in the illustration.

    3. Remove the 2 screws.

    4. Pull the rear combination light assembly toward the rear of the vehicle as shown in the illustration to disengage the pin and 3 guides and separate the rear combination light assembly.
      NOTE:

      To prevent the rear combination light assembly from falling when disengaging the pin, lightly hold the rear combination light assembly.

    5. Disengage the grommet to remove the rear combination light assembly.
