Inspection [08/2019 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Hazard Warning Signal Switch (Radio Receiver Assembly))      		 - -

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      B-10 (HAZ) - A-1 (GND1) Hazard warning signal switch off 10 MΩ or higher
      Hazard warning signal switch on Below 125 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the hazard warning signal switch (radio receiver assembly).

    2. Hazard warning signal switch indicator inspection

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Hazard Warning Signal Switch (Radio Receiver Assembly))      		 - -
      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the hazard warning signal switch (radio receiver assembly) and check that the hazard warning signal switch indicator illuminates.

        OK

        Condition Specified Condition
        Auxiliary Battery positive (+) → B-11 (LJB)
        Auxiliary Battery negative (-) → A-1 (GND1)        		 Illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the hazard warning signal switch (radio receiver assembly).
