DTC C1AE9: Rear Right Sensor Malfunction [08/2016 - 08/2019]: Description
The No. 3 ultrasonic sensor (rear right sensor) is installed to the rear bumper. The clearance warning ECU assembly detects obstacles based on signals received from the No. 3 ultrasonic sensor (rear right sensor). If the No. 3 ultrasonic sensor (rear right sensor) has an open circuit or other malfunction, it will not function normally.
