Removal [12/2017 - 10/2022]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:
    • After the engine switch is turned off, the radio receiver assembly records various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the power switch off, be sure to wait for the time specified in the following table before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

      Refer to PRECAUTION [12/2017 - 10/2020] , or refer to PRECAUTION [10/2020 - 10/2023]

    • After replacing the navigation ECU, if the "New software is not compatible with the system. Contact your dealer." on-screen message is displayed on the multi-display, update the software of the radio receiver assembly.

      Refer to PRECAUTION [12/2017 - 10/2022]

  2. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET 

    Refer to REMOVAL [12/2017 - 10/2022]

  3. REMOVE NAVIGATION ECU WITH BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Pull the navigation ECU with bracket toward the rear of the vehicle as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction
    3. Disconnect each connector and remove the navigation ECU with bracket.

      HINT: 

      Remove the navigation ECU with bracket together with the No. 1 navigation wire.

  4. REMOVE SWITCH WIRE 
    1. Detach the guide.

      *a Guide
      *b Clamp
    2. Detach the clamp and remove the switch wire.
  5. REMOVE NO. 1 NAVIGATION WIRE 
    1. Disconnect the connector and remove the No. 1 navigation wire.

  6. REMOVE NO. 3 RADIO BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and No. 3 radio bracket.

  7. REMOVE NO. 4 RADIO BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 screws and No. 4 radio bracket.

  8. REMOVE NAVIGATION ECU
