DTC C1289: VGRS Control System Malfunction [12/2017 - 09/2018]: Description
The skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) communicates with the VGRS ECU (front steering control ECU) via CAN communication.
If a malfunction in the variable gear ratio steering system (VGRS system) is detected, cooperative control of the steering is prohibited by the fail-safe function.
