1. Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

   Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [03/2017 - 06/2019] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [06/2019 - 04/2020] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [04/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [11/2021 - 10/2022] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2022 - 05/2023]

   OK

   CAN communication DTCs are not output.

   Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the smart access system with push-button start (for Entry Function).

   OK

   No malfunctions are present in the smart access system with push-button start (for Entry Function).

2. Make a note of the customizable items for each certification ECU related system.

   HINT: 

   These items shown as customizable via the navigation system vehicle customization screen can also be changed manually. In a following step, a manual procedure will be used.

   1. Check the customize parameters list for the smart access system with push-button start (for Entry Function) related items that can be customized via the multi-display screen.

      Refer to CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS [03/2017 - 05/2023]

3. Manually change and confirm that it was possible to successfully change the settings of the customize parameters for each system that are available for customization via the multi-display screen.

   OK

   The items available for customization via the multi-display screen can be customized successfully using the manual procedure.
