1. Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

   Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [03/2017 - 06/2019] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [06/2019 - 04/2020] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [04/2020 - 11/2021] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [11/2021 - 10/2022] , or refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [10/2022 - 05/2023]

   OK

   CAN communication DTCs are not output.

   Result

GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [03/2017 - 09/2018]  , or refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [09/2018 - 05/2023]

1. Check if the air conditioning system is malfunctioning.

   HINT: 

   Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the air conditioning system.

   No malfunctions are present in the air conditioning system.

2. Make a note of the customizable items for the air conditioning system.

   HINT: 

   These air conditioning system items shown as customizable via the multi-display vehicle customization screen can also be changed using the Techstream. In the following steps, the Techstream will be used.

   1. To match-up the items in the multi-display with the items on the Techstream, check the customize parameters list for the air conditioning system related items that can be customized via the multi-display screen.

      Refer to CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS [03/2017 - 05/2023]

3. Using the Techstream, confirm that it is possible to change the settings of the air conditioning system related customize parameters that are shown as customizable via the multi-display screen.

   OK

   The items available for customization via the multi-display screen can be customized successfully using the Techstream.
