Removal [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE LOWER FRONT BUMPER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [08/2015 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [08/2020 - ]

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [08/2015 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [08/2020 - ]

  3. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [08/2015 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 10 [08/2020 - ]

  4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [08/2015 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 [08/2020 - ]

  5. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [08/2015 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [08/2020 - ]

  6. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 FENDER APRON TO FRAME SEAL LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [08/2015 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [08/2020 - ]

  7. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 FENDER APRON TO FRAME SEAL RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [08/2015 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [08/2020 - ]

  8. REMOVE INTAKE MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY 

    (Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ] )

  9. REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY 

    (Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ] )

  10. DISCONNECT COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 [08/2015 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14 [08/2020 - ]

  11. REMOVE ENGINE OIL LEVEL DIPSTICK GUIDE 
    1. Remove the engine oil level dipstick.
    2. Remove the bolt and engine oil level dipstick guide.

    3. Remove the O-ring from the engine oil level dipstick guide.
  12. REMOVE EXHAUST PIPE STOPPER BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts and exhaust pipe stopper bracket.
  13. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.
    2. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.
    3. Disconnect the exhaust pipe support, and then remove the front No. 2 exhaust pipe assembly and 2 gaskets.
  14. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.
    2. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs from the center exhaust pipe.
    3. Remove the 2 nuts and front exhaust pipe assembly.
    4. Remove the 2 gaskets.
  15. REMOVE PROPELLER SHAFT HEAT INSULATOR WITH BRACKET 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  16. REMOVE FRONT PROPELLER SHAFT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  17. REMOVE NO. 2 MANIFOLD STAY 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts and No. 2 manifold stay.

  18. REMOVE NO. 1 EGR PIPE SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 4 nuts and No. 1 EGR pipe sub-assembly.

    2. Remove the 2 gaskets.
  19. REMOVE NO. 2 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts and No. 2 exhaust manifold heat insulator.

  20. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY LH 
    1. Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.
    2. Remove the 9 nuts, exhaust manifold assembly LH and 2 gaskets.

  21. REMOVE MANIFOLD STAY 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts and manifold stay.

  22. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts and No. 1 exhaust manifold heat insulator.

  23. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.
    2. Remove the 9 nuts, exhaust manifold assembly RH and 2 gaskets.

  24. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 1) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  25. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 1) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
