Removal [08/2015 - 08/2021]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the engine switch is turned off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (Refer to PRECAUTION [08/2015 - ] ).

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2019 - 08/2021] ).

  3. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5 [08/2019 - 08/2021]

  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL END RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 [08/2019 - 08/2021]

  5. REMOVE SHIFT LEVER KNOB SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [08/2019 - 08/2021]

  6. REMOVE UPPER CONSOLE PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 [08/2019 - 08/2021]

  7. REMOVE FRONT UPPER CONSOLE PANEL GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 36 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 35 [08/2019 - 08/2021]

  8. REMOVE MULTI-MEDIA MODULE RECEIVER ASSEMBLY 

    See step  8

  9. REMOVE CENTER INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 27 [08/2019 - 08/2021]

  10. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 28 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 28 [08/2019 - 08/2021]

  11. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [08/2015 - 08/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [08/2019 - 08/2021]

  12. REMOVE MULTI-DISPLAY ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Pull the multi-display assembly to detach the 7 clips on the backside of the multi-display assembly.

    3. Disconnect each connector and remove the multi-display assembly.
  13. REMOVE NO. 4 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Detach the 4 claws and remove the No. 4 instrument panel register assembly.

  14. REMOVE NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure described for the No. 4 instrument panel register assembly.

  15. REMOVE HAZARD SWITCH WIRE 
    1. Disconnect the connector.

    2. Detach the clamp, claw and remove the hazard switch wire.
  16. REMOVE HAZARD WARNING SIGNAL SWITCH ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  17. REMOVE DISC PLAYER BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 4 screws and disc player bracket.
